Catskill's historic home for the arts
UPSTATE ART WEEKEND 2023
Beattie-Powers Place, Catskill NY's historic home for the arts overlooking the Hudson River, will be presenting abstract monotypes by Michel Goldberg, mixed media fiber art by K. Velis Turan, painted maps and narrative scrolls by Edward Rothfarb, and cartoons by New Yorker staff cartoonist David Sipress. With special outdoor concert by TBQ (Three Trombones and a Tuba), Saturday, July 22, 3:30pm.

Michel Goldberg, born in Paris, France, is a graduate of The Pratt Institute and the High School of Music and Art inNew York City. https://michelgoldbergart.com/

Edward Rothfarb is a visual artist and art historian whose visual art draws on elements of South Asian architectural depiction, as well as courtly and popular traditions of painted maps, narrative scrolls and wall painting. https://edwardrothfarb.com/
David Sipress has been a staff cartoonist at the New Yorker since 1998. He has published over sevenhundredcartoons.
